I don't think they're a vendor on here, but I've been trying to send them my transfer case for a few weeks now but can't get an answer by e-mail or phone, and I've made ample attempts.

Does anyone know if they're still taking orders and such? I don't just want to ship him my T-Case without speaking to him.

Take a big wad of cash in your hand and then try calling. The only time they pick up is when they smell that cash up front on your initial ordering.

I figured as much. Ironically, Shep talked to me for 25 minutes without any talk about sale.

The only reason I'm going with TRE is that they offer shot-peening on my current ring and pinion and I can't afford to buy a new OEM unit.

Jon at TRE usually will talk your ears off. He's probably busy talking with another customer. Keep calling. When I had my transfer case rebuilt by him, he actually COD'd the bill so I was able to pay when my transfer case arrived at my door. Of course this was over 6 years ago, things might be different now a days.

Maybe your email went to his spam box. Also, try to be on point with your email's subject.

If your ring & pinion is bad it done. Shimming is the issue, to much slop and the gears don't mesh like the should. More of a crash together. If you ate dead set on that service ask shep if he will do it.

I believe you have it backwards. My ring and pinion was replaced with an OEM unit about 5K miles ago and has 0 launches on it and my T-Case was still in perfect condition when pulled.

I wanted to send it to TRE just to get the gear shot-peened and re-shimmed, as well as the 10mm bolt upgrade and an RS LSD. Shep doesn't do Shot-Peening, and there's a 110% chance he won't reuse my ring and pinion.

Still no response after countless calls and a few e-mails. I've given him ample time to respond, too. I'm not being overbearing and calling/e-mailing him so much he can't think straight.

T-Case is going to Shep this week.

Their mailbox is full, so I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue. Such is life.

He simply offers more services and does more work than Shep and Busher. Therefore he got my business.

Also, it was cheaper than Shep (but not Busher).

I am incredibly happy with the results.

And yes, he will talk and talk and talk about either how he does things, or troubleshoot with you. When you get ahold of him his customer service is amazing!

I found calling right around 12pm every 10min and trying for an hour usually works within a couple days. He doesnt get to work till I think 10-11ish, and works late.

Being persistent, Ive been able to get my Diff done and an Evo3 diff into my old talon within the last year but that was right before he moved shops.
