Crank vent idea

I am trying to vent my crank case more efficently, but I do not and I wont drill the valve cover for a bigger port. I purchased the fitting to make my balance shaft timing port to a crank vent. I was wondering if this idea would work though. The picture is pretty self explanitory. Opinions would be appriciated.
Thanks

Implementing the idea of not enough evacuation with the extra hose as Dallas J implied. If I added a check valve it should resolve the issue.

the PCV valve on our cars is closed at full suction and at full pressure.
It is only opened when you are cruising at medium vacuum levels.

Take it off and see for yourself, use compressed air to see what i mean.

I know that but thats not what the picture is showing, in the picture the hose going back to the intake from the port the pcv goes into will be open all the time, so the crank case can vent threw the rear port while the pcv is closed at wot. So essentially it would be doubling the amount of air that can be vented. But, the pcv will still be functional.

Only problem I see is you wont get as much evacuation during cruising since some of the vacuum is split between the line to the intake and some to the valve cover. How much just depends on the line, bends, length, etc.

Good point Dallas J, what if I used a check valve that only would close with suction and open with pressure?
Another thing is, when the pcv is open "sucking" crank case fumes, the crank vent port on the right hand of the valve cover is open, so if that hose is also going back to the intake it wouldnt be changing much in the evacuation one would think....

Maximum manifold vacuum occurs at idle. So, that would be full suction. Instructions in the factory service manual say to place a finger over the end of the pcv valve at idle to test for vacuum. This test wouldn't work if the valve was closed.
