anyone used a stock front evo 7/8/9 factory front LSD in there there non-lsd evo 4/5/6 transfercase?

Yes
Ring gear bolt holes will need to be enlarged I think from 8 to 10mm
And case may need minor clearancing/grinding, or not.
Shep trans does it routinely but they are far away from you: find somebody local or do it yourself taking ring gear to machine shop.
No need for reshumming
