im wondering if it hit the oil pan or hits anything? if the price is right, i may see a tanabe, or an HKS, as well thinking about a Helix.

2.75 in downpipes clear better the oil pan than 3 in and you can put a heatwrap around it if you're taking it to the track

the HKS dp is much better made. It's like art compare to the tanabe dp. The tanabe is three peices, i mean the welding is weak. Why would anybody want to buy tanabe when there is HKS.

I'm sure other tanabe dp users as well as I will definitely let everyone know if "the welding is weak" if it ever busts under pressure.
But before then, I'll file this classic internet armchair comment in the "you're stupid and I'm cool" drawer.

Where did you pick up this dp from? I know it's cheaper than the HKS one, but that does not say to much HKS is very high priced.

It is 2.7559 inches, or 70mm. (25.4mm=1 in.) I highly doubt that 0.244in will make a huge differnce and Id rather have it clear the croddbars and oilpan with room to spare.

As for the quality of the piece, I have not heard anyone who owns it knock on the quality or fitment.
