Unhappy fueling problem

such wierd issue with my evo 4, that started recently: car runs out of petrol but the fuel gauge shows that there shoud be enough fuel in the tank, the gauge needle is on the very bottom line but I've driven below that level and with fuel warning light on and the car was driveable, but now I cant reach even to fuel warning light to come on, car stalls and cuts out, especially when taking left hand turns. as soon as I add gas in the tank, it's ok. I have hardwired walbro, if it matters

any suggestions greatly appritiated

If I hit my hand with a hammer, it hurts. When I stop, the pain goes away. What should I do?

Add fuel.

keep hammering your hand

I wonder if there's a chance the pump not sitting properly and and not reaching the bottom of the tank, or if there's any kind of overflow hole from side to side in the tank and it's clogged or something, because gauge sender on the left shows that there's fuel in the tank, but the pump on the right side can not pick it up

Those are possibilities with arguably low probability. Open the tank and check.
How old is your fuel filter, it could be clogged. I wouldn't regularly drive with the fuel that low. You can degrade the life of your fuel pump.
