oil catch tank question

Yes but it would be better to have both lines run into can individually.

i tried doing that in another application and had issues with idle

when seperate cans to each are used, all is fine

my valve cover(right one in pic) never gave me a drop whereas pcv line(back on valve cover in pic) gives me oil

You could eliminate the pcv and run the -6an STM valve cover fittings into a catch can. Thats what I am currently doing.

I agree with post #2.

Unless the 2 lines routed in your diagram have 1way valves or something, having an open line system like that might defeat the purpose because it just could create a loop.

Technically it shouldn't be able to if there is vacuum on the can....but its wise to use a port for each. That is exactly how my catch can setup is. 2 ports in, 1 port to the intake.
