LICP and UICP for my Evo 4.... some questions!

Hello guys!! I know, Evo 4 in USA is rare but maybe someone can help me about my doubts!

Recently I bought an ETS FMIC 4"... I had to do custom LICP and UICP, but the work of those pipes was poorly prepared..

I bought last week the ETS LICP (LP2 I think) and I hoping that arrive to my country, but yesterday I was thinking if I buy the UICP but I have my doubts if it fit in my Evo 4???

Perhaps someone with an Evo 4 has tried this? use ETS pipes in this car?

I leave two pics on the FMIC and engine bay...

Thanx! I will pareciate your help guys!

Hey man
First of all, sweet looking IV.
Secondly, the LICP WILL work in your car, no questions about it. The UICP however will need a bit of adjustment to fit 4-6. I'm preparing to do the same install

Hey! Thank you man for your answer!!!

What kind of adjustment do you mean? Today, I will buy the JM Fab UICP 2.5.. This is my firts option, but If the store doesn´t have that part, I will buy the ETS UICP... i think that part works great, but I don´t know

Might be easier to get the top pipe fabricated. Different companies might use different routes - won't be off by much, but might be enough to not fit. As an example - I've got a trust intercooler kit - it doesn't come with the upper ic piping. My mate had a spare HKS top pipe, they don't come close to fitting. From the photos it looks like you already have an aftermarket upper pipe - you could probably just adapt that to the lower one rather than getting a new one?

thanx for your help! The top pipe in my evo is a piece of tube that one friend give me from other car (honda pipe hahaha). Its has 3 inch I think but its too small in size, no diameter, compare to the top pipe of a uicp kit (I think that).
I want try with JM Fab uicp, ETS or STM uicp but I dont know! Some guy here sale only the low pipe of the uicp, I dont know what brand but I can try with that for $60 dollars... Less than $300 for a kit

3 inch should be more than enough - too big and you'll lose response though. I really doubt the ones you're looking at would be bigger. Might pay to check I guess.

I did some measuring on my EVO 4 before deciding I didnt want to try stuffing a 4 inch cooler in. I opted for a 3.5. but its not installed yet so I would like to see picturs of how much bumper strimming is needed.
