ATF Dexron3 on the tranny?
Since ATF has very little in the way of extreme pressure or anti-wear additives, i don't see that it would be better for the transmission. ATF is merely a hydraulic fluid-- not a gear lube.
However, since ATF generally has the viscosity of a 0w-20 motor oil, the shifting should be very very light. Whereas something like Redline MTL (which is a light 70w-80 GL-4) is very close to a 10w-30.
ferb!
