need help degreeing cams..

need help degreeing cams..

im looking to degree my cams bt dont know where to start. does anyone have a basic +/- setting they run? currently i have the basic bolt ons..
intake
uicp/licp
exhaust
halman mbc

and for the head i have bc272's with adjustable cam gears.

what should i set the cam gears to?????????? i tried searching and could not find anything that helped answer my questions.

leave that to your tuner. most likely the gears will stay at 0

Degreeing cams and adjusting cam phasing are two different things.
Degreeing cams is to ensure no mismachining has occurred.
Cam phasing (cam gears) manipulates your powerband.
IMHO, if the cam manufacture could make more power phasing them differently, why not machine them that way
