Question New Engine build advice.. 700whp

So I developed rod knock the other night when cruising to a local car meet and had the chance to pull the car around and head home, checked it over and believe I may have spun a bearing.

Original Setup:
2.0l, Ross/Eagle 9.0:1
Comp Cams 280/280
Supertech springs/retainers
1mm oversized valves
FIC 1450's
Double Pumper
T3 tubular setup w/ Tial 40mm WG
Full 3" Exhaust
PTE6262 CEA DBB .82
Stock ECU + SD tuned @ 35psi
Sparktech Non-CDI COP
TurboXS FMIC
Buschur UICP w/ Tial BOV
all the other supporting mods..

Old Dyno:

I hope the head is good still, but I am going to aim for 700whp on the new build, figure might as well go bigger. Was looking for some advice on the combos I have in mind while keeping my block as a good core.

2.0L - just straight rebuild it and get it back on the road (would need 40+psi to make my 700 number)

Go 2.3L and A) keep 6262 or B) upgrade to a bigger turbo, ie: 6466.

I plan to use the car as a weekend warrior with occasional track use, but mostly want it to be a 140mph car I can reak some havoc with on the streets. I have been looking at Buschur shortblocks as a decent option or having a local build me one, any advice is appreciated.
