Hi need some help please. My 7, with an 8 actuator is having an inconsistent, wavy boost up top, peaking at around 1.3ish and dropping to 1bar...peaking and dropping again repeatedly to different values like ocean waves, as seen clearly on the dyno sheet. Sorry, I've been having problems after another. I first had a boost drop with my rusty 7 actuator (1.2bar to 1bar but NO wavy issue). Had it replaced anyway with the one from 8 hoping it would solve but it created another different issue.

So I did a diy boost leak test with all the pump and stuff but all seemed good. I also did a quick test by connecting a hose directly from the turbo to the actuator (with the pill still in place), went for a blast and I got a solid 0.8bar. Does that tell me the actuator is good and the boost solenoid is bad or worst my turbo is on its last leg? I've heard good things about Grimmspeed 3-port solenoid and was thinking of installing it and a flash to suit. I just wanna get it over with...all these dyno sessions are ripping my wallets. Would like to hear some opinions before I go mental with my spending.
