Fuel pump help

So trying to get some ideas so here goes, had a Wally 255 rewired and went out on me while driving normally and car just cranked but never turned over.. Replaced it and starts up now but a putt sound comes from the engine.. Don't think it's knock but afr reading normalish and just checked motor and all and it's good.

Could the Wally going out cause some sort of internal damage? Or maybe am I just running rich.. Any advice would be very much appreciated
