Hello all,

I'm in need of some wiring help. I bought a 2003 VIII Evo 8 GSR drag shell. The motor I bought is a IX MIVEC motor, so according to threads that I read I bought a IX wiring harness.

However, upon looking closer, I find that there are added and missing connectors... So, I'm at a loss on what to do.

Specimen 1:



This is on the interior portion of the harness. The connectors in question are yellow (2) and blue (1)

Specimen 2:


This is on my original VIII GSR harness, and is NOT present on my IX harness. Is this abs?

Sure I'll go spend $500 on a new head. That makes sense.
