***1st mod before you do ANYTHING else***

Install a damn boost gauge. I see at least 1 post a day about people doing stuff to there car to make it faster and have no boost gauge. This HAS to be the 1st mod or you have no idea what is really going on.

Thanks
Ryan

1st mod: take your *** to a roadcourse DRIVING SCHOOL . This is no insult to you or anyone else, its simply the best way to prolong not only your car but also your life. It makes you a better driver and better judge of the road. The EVO is plenty fast stock to get you in big trouble, and im sick and tired of reading about guys trashing their Evos. Take this as a bit of advice, youll also have a blast in school by going around much more expensive cars and destroying egos!

How hard is it to move the radio lower with the relocation kit when installing the gauges in the dash?

Also, besides the boost gauge, what other two gauges do you consider the next most important?

Easy

Simple as that.

There are tons of threads on it if you wanna look it up though.

In the Uk i would say get the ECU remapped to run on the **** that we get! Safety first (and a little more power)! or maybe some proper rubber!

I agree with driving school being the first mod necessary. Boost gauge is the first tangible mod i would buyh to put on the car, but the first thing i would spend my money on is driving school.......that not only improves your experience with this car, but any car you'll own from now on.....Remember, you can have a faster car than someone and still lose if you don't know how to drive...

Brake pads. There is always an emphasis placed on going fast, seldom does anyone stress the need to stop--repeatedly, reliably.
