Run car NA

Breaking in my new motor--would like to do so without boost... Is there any way to bypass the pressure the turbos making (external wg). I guess I could remove the spring from the wg... Any other ideas?

You should use some boost to break in the new engine anyway....pushes the rings out and allows them to seat on the walls better.

Yeah, as per my research, that's what I'm thinking to, boost off the wg spring (14 psi)

Unhook the wga arm. But many a ppl say if its gonna break, itll do it at 5 miles or 5,000 miles and the break in is mumbo. Im pretty sure theres shops that go straight from rebuilt motor installed to dyno in the same day

+1

bedding in an engine without "decent" cylinder pressures will yield average results.
The best place to run in an engine is on the dyno.
this way detonation and AFR can be monitored real time while the engine is being run in.
Also load can be correctly monitored
