Oil squirter block off kit?

Hey guys I was tearing apart my motor today and unfortunately I broke the oil squirters banjo bolt. So I was wondering what the best option was to go with. Im going to so a piston and rod setup since my block has scratches on the walls. so should i buy a Block off kit or buy new ones? I'm kind of on a buying since I'm doing a full rebuild.
Thanks - Dain

Either just weld up the old ones, or buy new. What are your plans with the car?

No brainer man. Buy new ones. They're relatively cheap compared to a blown motor..

They are there cause he is still on a stock block. If he rebuilds the motor and gets forged internals he doesn't need them.

They can't hurt, they still remove heat from the piston. IF you are worried about the oil pressure, or if you are only drag racing or not doing extended street pulls, I wouldn't worry about them.

I deleted mine yesterday with some cut down flywheel bolts with thread sealant and crush washers. I didn't feel like having to pull the pan again when another tube snaps.

Have you had any problems? It's my daily but I'd hate to spend 90$ on 4 bolts if it unnecessary.

What I did in my talon way back in the day. Thing is though your oil pressure will still be kinda high. Depending if your motor has balance shafts (which my talon doesn't) you are gonna have to port the relieve valve some in your oil filter housing to keep the oil pressure down.

I should have everything together tomorrow and I can check the oil pressure, my rear balance shaft is deleted and the front was machined so I'm expecting higher pressure. All you need is 4 M12x1.25 bolts that're about 3/8" long and have 17mm head.

While on the subject, what WOT oil pressure would be considered too much?

Good deal, I didn't notice any extra vibrations after deleting mine and it's so much easier to work with the timing belt.
