Well I am looking into a new turbo and have seen a few companies that do upgrades from your stock turbo. I know MAP has them on their site and listed. I hear people saying FP does, but I don't see anything about it on their site. Anyone know of any others that offer the service? Also are their any downsides to doing this over buying new?

 

FP has turbos such as the green, red, and black that replace the stock turbo on the stock manifold without the need of replacing anything else. I recall Tomei having a stock appearing turbo as well, though I can't remember what it has been dubbed. HKS also have the GT2, which is also a stock replacing turbo. What I know, is that they don't take in your turbo and modify it, if that's what you're asking; however, I could be incorrect.

 

I know they are stock replacement turbos. I was wondering if they do upgrades to your existing turbo. For example, sending in your stock ix turbo and having it upgraded to an hta green or ef4. I know MAP does this, but was unsure of others that also offer this service.
