need good clutch
What exactly do you mean by "on a budget"?? Because the twin isn't a budget clutch setup either. And you need a clutch fork stop.
Competition twin is several hundred less than the Exedy Twin and you can choose between 3 different top hats(pressure plates) at no extra cost.
The comp twin with "b" pressure plate holds up to 650 ft/lbs with no problem. Competition clutches are a step above ACT and Exedy IMO. And the customer service is amazing. I have dealt with Competition for several years now and they are always helpful with any questions I have without making me feel like an idiot for asking. I've had the Exedy Twin HD in my car. Drove it for 3000 miles of daily driving, broke it in properly, and took it to the track ONE time. After a few passes on a basically stock Evo it went bad and wouldn't let me put the car in gear. I know how to launch my car. That clutch is a POS in my opinion.

This topic is just a matter of preference and money. There is no right or wrong in most cases. Buschur Racing has been using the Exedy clutch for quite some time and it's been proven to handle pretty well with no issues whatsoever. The Competition clutch has also been proven to be durable, as well as the Quartermaster. Look at your budget, look at the different prices of different clutches, and simply make up your mind. But definitely go with a double or triple clutch to hold all that power.
can we just argue instead??? lol not trying to be a jerk just poking fun
yes its preference. dude if u already have the twin I would just save a bit longer & scoop up the triple conversion. or sell and go with other options. variety is the spice of life, if u can afford trying something different, why not. everybodys input helps
thats what this is meant for. gl buddy
quartermster has a bit of a rebuild repair often rep. i see more of their life on garage floors and benches than others but they have a great rep for driving nice. pick your poison. nothing lasts forever w the type of abuse these cars see
