Synapse valve flutter?

So I've had the synapse DV for a few months, but it may have some problems. Over the summer I was tuned on e-85 at 29.5 pounds of boost and now I'm back to 91 (for the winter tuned to 25 pounds).

Over the summer starting around 4500 RPMs in fourth gear and the same in fifth gear at WOT there would be a wh wh wh wh noise probably about 3-5 a second (decently loud). Felt like the power was falling off a bit too.

Now the same thing happens but slightly later in fourth gear roughly 5000 RPMs.

So what do you think? Valve flutter, maybe something with the wastegate? I don't have an O2 dump. Any solutions? I made sure that I had the two fittings on the valve in the right spot so its not that.

Any input is appreciated.

Also HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

-Alec

What is your setup/turbo/boost control?
You may have compressor surge and wrongly think that's the BOV, like a lot of people do.

This seems to happen at WOT, with the little detail he tells. I don't think it's a stiff spring issue.

Spring that came with the DV

Also what more detail do you want other guy? I feel that I've described the problem as fully as I can.

Ok so me the other guy ahaha I want to know if this happens only at full throttle , or more especially on part throttle situations? I just wanted to help. I've had some surge under 0 degree F up here in Canada in 5th gear and it was because I was boosting too much at low rpm. The engine VE is too low and boost is too fast so you basically cross the surge line of the turbo and air is going back through the compressor. I solve that by lowering my target boost in 5th gear at low rpm. Thanks you ECU boost for this.

Edit: By re reading your post I'm now 95% sure you have compressor surge. I'm sorry I didn't fully understand your details the first time. You have to lower boost in these situation (3 port ECU boost would be a good advice).

KK thank you. Sorry if I seemed snappy, I thought that I had stipulated this was happening at full throttle.
