I LOVE my 2.4L. With a 20G9 turbo it was so responsive and just a blast everywhere. I am going to install a larger turbo but if it takes away too much of the fun I can always go back. I am also considering selling my 35R setup and buying a BB green if I dont like the std 35R. A bb green on a 2.4 has to be a blast.

You had a 2.3 for a bit why do you say that?

With such a short power band I was not happy, I had to do too much adjustment to get the car to get MPH out of her and I was still not happy. I rather have the high reving powerband.

Thanks for your response. ...so a 2.2 that revs to 9500 would be ideal.

I would go with a built 2.0L with high compression pistons and with all these new turbo's comming out making big power with minimal spool up.

Interesting. Do you still feel the same way? That being said, I would entertain a FP Black on E85 with a built 2.0LR.

I frequent the strip once in a blue moon.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone locally who has a 2.3L. I'd love to take a ride in one.

I guess my thought is, if the BB FP green is going to really make most of its power post-6500rpm on the 2.0L, than maybe the 2.3L is worth the extra bucks...

Shoot me a PM. I am just outside the Trenton area and would be glad to take you for a spin. I am still working on tuning with TSC so it isn't where it could be yet. It is a Buschur 2.3 with a Buschur stage 3 head and GSC-R2 cams and an FP DBB Green.

LOL......I didn't see the dates on the earlier posts....

Tuning is still happening but before it broke it seemed to hit full boost 3500 rpms.

3,500 RPM must be nuts on the Green.
