What are you looking to accomplish by introducing anti-lag into your setup?

Is the car going to be strictly track only?

For antilag, you'd need an aftermarket ECU like a 2nd gen AEM & you'd need to have it tuned, it's very effective when used on the track & it's switchable, so, it's street friendly.

Yea, why are you wanting anti-lag? I hope its not so yo can go around popping your exhaust and shooting flames. Will it be worth the extra cash it costs for you to have it?

i believe a full antilag system is definitely worth it. but it reduces turbo life considerably since you are creating combustion in the exhaust manifold. that being said large turbos benefit greatly from it on the track since it whines them back up before gear engagement. as far as the cut out you'd be better off just pulling the back half of the exhaust off since its only 2 bolts. much cheaper then you could actually install a j pipe in its place to keep it from frying your undercarriage.

I second Joseph, it's worth it, it would usually produce 6-8psi over run boost which means that the car would be much faster cornering. However, for drag racing, I'd recommend you use NLTS or 'flat foot shifting' which is much more effective than antilag in a straight line.
