So I installed My MBC yesterday and had a few problems that I hope someone can help me with.
I use a turbo XS 2 stage boost controller, one side is stock and the other is adjustable. Here is the problem, when I ran the car in 3rd to test the boost it spikes .2 to .3 bars, the settles down to a set spot (in this case 1.4 bar).
The problem is when it passes 1.5 bar the car stops. Its like a fuel cut or an ignition cut. I don't know witch on it is doing. So I have to turn the boost down to 1.3 so that the spike stops before it passes 1.5 bar when that car stops.
Can and one tell me how to get ride of the spike and why that car stops?
The boost does hold at the set place through red line BTW after the spike.
All I have for mods is an intake and the MBC.

where did u tap your vac line. you should t-it into the bov line. mine is holds like A ROCK.

You might have it installed backwards. The pressure signal and wastegate line could be reversed. Please look in: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=silverevo8
Check out my sketch and see if your MBC can be installed in similar fashion.....

 

I have mine tapped like sliverEVO8 and it goes to 20psi and stays steady
