Sound Diagnosis

Had a weird sound develop a few weeks ago from the right front side of the car.

Almost sounds like a whistling sound when the window is cracked slightly.

I had that wheel bearing changed about 20k miles ago under warranty.

Transfer case replaced about 15k miles ago.

I only hear it from around 20-60 mph and it pitch increases slightly with speed. You hear nothing at a dead stop, so I know Its part of some rotating assembly.

Any help?

Fully close or full open your window. Sounds like your window whistling while cracked.

not the window for sure. Roll the window down and it gets louder.

A more fitting reference, it sounds like one of those whistling tea kettles.

It could be a part of the vehicle that is catching wind and resonating. That would happen with increased speed too. Could it be the side mirrors? You're sure it's speed related and not rpm?

Mirrors have been known to whistle at speed. Fold them in and see if the noise is still there.
