Hey guys im looking at getting a ecu upgrade among other things within 2 weeks. I wanted to hear from everybody and see what they thought about which ecu has the most HP gain and personal experiences with there’s. Also i was hoping someone could give me a round about figure at what im going to be looking at for HP. Mods include

HKS Racing Suction Intake
HKS Downpipe
HKS Carbon Ti Catback
HKS 264/272 Cams
HKS Cam Gears
HKS EVC 5 Boost Controller
HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer

you should get the mail in dynoflash it's only around $200 and a lot of people have it on this board and are pleased with it, if you have more money go with standalone (ask your local tuner what brand they are familiar with)

 

I've been happy with my S-afc II. Not a big fan of the flashes. A flash seems like a hassle to send in everytime you change something. (The down time of the car) This is not a bash on flashes, just my opinion. The flashes produce great results.

 

with S-AFC you are only able to lean out the A/F ration but the flash can also control timing advance... which results in more torque

 

Yes but the ablity to have user control to some is more important.

I used the S-AFC in the past and it works well but now I'm using the Xede and timing is everything for good power on pump gas.
