JIC exhaust loud?
I have searched and read the exhuast thread and I cannot seem to find a definitive answer on wether the JIC catback exhaust is loud or almost as quiet as stock. I am pretty sure that the Full titanium catback is really loud, but i was wondering about the stainless steel catback with titanium tip. Can someone fill me in?
Just a note:
I have heard the greddy titanium catback and the RMR turboback in person and the greddy is still noticeably louder!

I have the jic tiatanium tip with stainless cat back, along with the buschur downpipe and cat delete pipe, also i cut of my resonator and added another 3" pipe, it sounds like somehitng out of a movie!!! everyoine says it the loudest most intimidating sound ever........cat back alone not that loud....nice tone..
I think leif is correct. At least I know he is WRT the Spartan because that is the one I have (Full Ti Spartan DE Type 2 to be exact). The Spartan DE Type 2 has an oval canister and comes with a resonator and is a bit quiter than stock. The other one (505) has a smaller cylindrical canister and I believe is louder, though I understand that it comes with a removable silencer. I have heard reports of people getting them with and without resonators. Not sure what the story is there...

EDIT: Also, the 505 has an angled exit, the Spartan has a straight exit.

JIC not loud
I have the full Ti Cat back - It is not loud at all. In fact I was a little bummed by it's super quiet operation....However, that is with stock DP and stock cat......
Titanium is NOT llouder than steel....I have owned 5 different exhausts....2 of them Ti - the design/shape/materials of the muffler and it's ability to baffle are much more of a factor on sound level.
