Whats up guys! Im looking to upgrade my old technology 4088 with a 94mm wheel. Anyone know where i can find a gtx? Also what about batmowheels?? Any info would be great thanks

 

The 94mm wheel that goes on GT4094R are a smaller trim than the GT4294R wheel, presumably to soften it up a bit to match up with the GT40 wheel - the only GTX in that size is from the GTX42 would be too aggressive and it'd go far enough to say the same issue would be present.

Owen Development in the UK are FP dealers and sell "GT4094HTA" turbos, so I'm guessing that getting in touch with ForcedPerformance and seeing if they can sort you out with one of those compressor wheels. That is assuming that what you are looking for is more power? There are small units out there which will outflow a GT4088R these days, so unless you are looking for more outright power it might be a time to consider completely changing turbo.

 

Im over 700whp. But the 40r im on is just old technology. And im just looking for quicker spool and better powerband. Ive been looking at the 6466 but changing to that wpuld equal a whole new turbo kit, and dont really havr money for all new everything. Wish there was a nice spooling big power turbo that would bolt right into where my 40r is

 

I can't promise this, but I'm pretty sure the Borg Warner S300SX turbos have near identical fitment to GT4088Rs - I've heard of people swapping from GT40Rs to the BW S300SXs when faced with a similar situation you are in. I'd say that may be one of the best places to look into if you aren't looking to spend huge money and are looking for better spool.
