Ok my current parts list
9 turbo
stock Mivec long block
Megan downpipe
STM test pipe
Buschur Bullet exhaust
Hallman mbc
All nessisary peak warning gauges, AEM wideband
Vibrant junk to maf
Stock intake mani+turbo inlet pipe and maf
AMS fmic
GReddy uicp
AMS licp
AMS fuel rail with AN fittings to FPR
FIC 1100 high z injectors
Resistor delete
single Walbro 255 fp
L19 headstuds
Grimmspeed 3
Omni 4 bar map
Bilstein HD's
Spec-R springs
Whiteline front sway
Perrin rear sway w/links
Stock wheels with BFG's
Oil catch can similar to STM's standard with AN fittings and braided hoses.
I'm looking at around $5-6k to spend on a forward facing turbo kit, mini radiator, ac delete kit and a new Spoolin' up cop. I'll port my stock intake manifold and install new tb seals.
Main question is which kit to go with. I'm thinking an STM FF 5557, 5858, 6262 or Garret FP hta 3076 or 3586R. Either way it will be ball bearing and will have the 4" surge port cover. Other options and or companies to consider that's as high of quality or better at the same or cheaper price?
I'm pretty set on this setup I plan on getting dual Speed density E85/93 tunes and I'll be running S3 cams and Kiggly racing springs, Tial vta and a freshly gone through transmission with new synchros, re-shimmed etc and a new clutch, pretty set on a Competition but not sure which to go with. NOT PUCK, I wouldn't consider it.
I'm on STOCK BLOCK at the moment, not sure how many miles on it and honestly I bought this car not knowing anything about trannies, engines, turbos etc. I didn't keep up on oil changes like I should have all the time but over the last 3 years I've grown and done days and days worth of research and have mechanically learned the car very well. I'm looking at getting either a proper 2.0L, 2.3L or 2.4LR towards the end of this summer or next winter built by either AMS, MAP, Buschur or Tom at TScomptuned.
Tuning will also be done by Tom. My car will be strictly for racing and very nice days seeing as I don't want to ruin a beautiful manifold with rain etc, I also want to run dual wastetgate dumps, either 2 seperate or two into 1 out the hood.
I don't want a stock frame FP turbo, I was considering an EF3 and Toxifab mani but now I want a full kit. My 9 turbo and downpipe will be for sale soon along with my radiator, stock shifter, KYB's, stock sways, stock injectors, rail etcetc
I'm also moving my battery to the trunk and I'm using 2 gauge wires and having a battery tray welded in with a Taylor master kill switch. Basically either put the switch above my front blinker or on the back corner of the car above the tail light. I know it has to completely kill the car, not just the battery so how do I go about that? I have two 2 gauge wires for the main power and ground and 2 more ground wires to hook up in the back frame rails for extra ground.
I'm wondering if I'll NEED a double pumper and last but not least, how much power do you see me making on my stock block and how much on a 2.3L fresh when I buy either need it or want it soon
Just want to add with the wide open exhaust, ams lower and ic, 9 bov, vibrant intake delete w/filter and adaptor, wally 255 pump and hallman she made 360whp/tq at 27psi on a Mustang dyno that reads a bit higher than some others but still not like dynojet numbers.
EDIT, I forgot to add what the car will be used for. This will only see beautiful summer days, I'll never drive up someones *** again, I will have a multilayer mesh to T-Bolt clamp over the housing but I don't want a turbo that fits a real filter because they tend to not stick out quite as far. I can fab up my own filter that'll fit on a kit like the STM just in case i want to run a K&N. It'll mostly be used in SCCA Street Modified and the drag strip occasionally (launching at 360wtq alone is killing the tcase launching.

Uh, yeah, 60 something views and no replies, pretty cool I guess
I PM'd Brian at STM, Mike at ETS and Toxifab, whoever offers the best product for the buck gets it, just want my answers cleared up.

If you are using your car for mostly auto X I'm not sure a FF mani would be your best bet. If you do get one though make sure a filter would fit. I do not think the stm mani can be ran with a filter. Also I wouldn't go with a large turbo since you mostly are looking for downlow power and spool.
As far as the motor goes if your looking for the tq down low for auto x a stroker motor might be your best bet. Ive also seen the 2.4LR perform well at the dragstrip also.
If you are going to max out your walbro and maybe run rewire kit and e85 with the boost turned up I'd say close to 400. Double pumper is a must for taking it beyond this level.

Alright then the double pumper and another 255 will be ordered. I figured as much. I just have no experience with PTE turbos so I'm unsure on the size, from what I've read a 5858 should be good on stock block and 2.3/2.4LR am I wrong? If so plz correct me, that's why I made this post.
