i just put on an AEM intake yesterday and i cant really notice a difference in performance? this along with my man. boost controller are my only go-fast mods, so should i turn up the boost since i put on the intake? also what is a good intercooler piping set? that will probably be my next mod.

 

ya turn up the boost, you learn how important data log is the hard way, don't ever modify something without tuning.... Mostlikely the reason you can't feel the increase is becasue the hard intake pipe reduces performance slightly by allowing too much air in too fast, and the MAF can't adjust for it... Simple fix is getting an AFC. Then again to really check if their is a overall gain, have the car dyno'd with and without parts...

 

Thats normal. you wont't get much power gain from an intake. The stock box is already pretty good. It gives the engine all the air that it needs. I wouldn't turn the boost up too much unless your running on some good fuel. Personally I just went with the K&N drop in filter.

I've been eyeing the Buschur intercooler piping myself. it gets rid of a lot of bends.
