Greddy Oil catch can
Greddy Oil catch can
Does anyone know where to mount this thing it is pretty big and does not seem to fit anywhere. I have the stock battery. The thing looks good but I need some help with mounting location Thanks
Rory, you got the limited edition one which is bigger than the regular Greddy catch can. There is really no where to put it unless u relocate your battery to the trunk, or get a smaller battery kit.
Jimbo it does not say limited edition on Lancershop. I spoke to them, they claim they sold a bunch of them so unless everyone is relocating the battery. they are able to change it. But I would prefer not to. It going to be a pain in the *** to change. I have to get off my fat *** and go to the post office. Is there really no where to fit this
There are 2 versions of the Greddy oil catch can. The first version is square shape, the newer version is oval/hexagonal shape. You probably have the newer version, it's bigger than the older version, but also harder to put into the Evo's engine bay unless you have a smaller battery.

Joel there is no battery there the guy must have relocated the battery to the rear. Compare that picture to whats under your hood you will see a larege battery sitting where that guy has the catch can sitting

I have the Greedy catch can. But due to my 'Austin Mini' project, I haven't had time to install it.
But when I was scouting a spot in my engine bay to place the can, I was thinking behind/ under the strut bar.
If you install it, get rid of that crappy flexi-hose and get some real braided line. That flexi line is used for household plumbing connections and, IMHO, isn't really meant to stand up to the heat of a turbocharged engine.
