My camshaft broke in half is this it and how much is this gonna cost me

 

Depends on a lot of different factors. If you were able to shut the car down in time it might not be horrible, but if you tried to drive the car it could mean a couple thousand if you have to redo the head etc.

 

Well I guess when it broke it didn't wanna start ago an so after it broke never turned on again or anything took it to a shop an said it broke in half cuz it was loose because the prior owner had left the heads loos or something but that's what the repair shop said so gonna bring it home and probably just buy a cam and see what happens then
