I had an hks 272 ex cam with the same markings. Observe here. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...m-evo-8-a.html
It came out of an hks 272 set, so I am certain you have one as well. Cheers.

Those clearly say "am004" on them. My exhaust cam has either "b08" or "008" on it. It looks like a B to me. Those marking don't match my cam besides the "a04" part.
Thanks

If I am not mistaken, all a04 blanks were 272's. Why not take 5 minutes to email HKS and get the answer straight from the horse's mouth instead of fishing on EvoM?

Ask one of the vendors on Evom that sell their parts.

Click click. You might not have too much luck though. As stated above, ask a reputable vendor for contact info.

When I got a used set of gsc cams I called them and they told me the code is on one of the lobes close to the gear side, sure enough they were gsc s2 for mivec. Try that. Might be different for hks, not sure tho
