stock internals HP and torque limit?

hi, im wondering how much hp and torque does a stock internals evo 8 handle?

im currently making 450 whp and 330 torque according to virtual dyno on 25 psi with 93 oct, can i go upto 30 psi?

my current mods are:

gt3586 turbo
gsc s2 cams
arp head studs
supertech valve springs and retainers
fic 1250cc injectors

i've been driving the evo on 25 psi for more than a year now, i want to push it a little further, can it handle 500whp?

Why don't you flesh out your mod list more completely with respect to a higher flow fuel pump as well as a FMIC upgrade?

I would stay where you are unless you can afford a rod through the side of the block. If you can afford it than push it as far as you want. BadEVO made over 700.

I wouldn't push your luck upping it to 30psi. Even though you might be safe with the lowend tq of the 3586...its a expensive game of Russian roulette to play but that's just me.

I would say 400ft lbs/600whp would be the max, a lot of people will back this up as the max power to search for on the stock block. A few people will say slightly more 450ft lbs, I think its all how fast you build the torque and if its a hard hit early and not bled it can throw a rod and window the block. Then you can wave to your crank and say hi, you guys can make friends and tell stories to each other

It should be able to handle 500hp no problem with that turbo. That will be low 400 TQ or so. Whoever tunes it should look into techniques to delay TQ and also keep it low. The TQ curve will break or save you.

I made 632/48X on buschur's mustang dyno (700hp ish on a dynojet) and ran the car with a lot of TQ for 2 years like that. When I rebuilt the motor when it was running good to save money before catastrophic failure, I found a slightly bent rod.

I think that you're already playing Russian roulette with your engine, I'd invest in some aftermarket internals & preferably increasing displacement to 2.3L which is more suited for a GT35 sized turbo.

its not a daily driver, i only take it out occasionally. maybe 1-2 times in 2 weeks or so, and the motor has 50k miles on it...i bought the car about 2 years ago, and have only driven about 2000 miles by myself...
