Catback back Exhaust

I am looking at catback exhaust systems and am confused by all the brands out there today. I've read a bunch of the previous threads and can't decide...I'm leaning toware either:
B&B $579
Bushur Racing $450

I'm focusing on obtaining the most power in a catback without letting everybody within a 5 mile radius that I'm driving down the street. I don't mind louder sound at high RPMs but regular idle and regular driving, I'd like it to be reasonable.

I don't want to throw $700+ into a catback just for a brand name like Greddy or HKS. At the same time I want a quality stainless steel, 3" exhaust that in the end addresses the #1 reason I put it in, increased whp.

I've heard B&B has a reasonable sounding exhaust on the other hand I've heard Bushur's is really noisy. Does anyone know how much the magnaflow muffler helps both in noise and deration of power?

Any opinion on Borla exhausts? How about Helix?

Looking at downpipes at the same time as well.

Thanks!

We have an optional muffler that is much quieter than our lightweight race muffler. If you want it to be quiet just call us and order the optional Magnaflow muffler.

Our systems are the lightest out there built in stainless steel. They are CNC mandrel bent 304 grade stainless and are all TIG welded. You won't be disapointed.

Thanks David. However how much will the magnaflow muffler derate power? I mean how else does this reduce sound if it doesn't reduce exhaust flow? Isn't that the compromise with silencers, that the power is reduced because of increased resistance?

Btw, do you have any stats on what the average WHP gain from a Bushur catback and/or a downpipe?
