t case leak need help please!

Ok so I have an 05 EVO 8 ssl and there has been a leak for some time so I researched and almost everyone said it was the seals between the t case and trans so I took it out and replaced them. Ran the car and when I got home looked under and its worse and looks likes its coming from the rear seal of the t case where it connects to the drive line possibly?I have a picture but not sure how to put it on here off my phone so ill try and put it on with my laptop later but any help would be greatly appreciated. pretty much drizzles out oil and leaves a 1/8 cup of oil or so when I turn the car off. Thank you

Does it leak when the car is off? Does it leak when the car is running in neutral but hasn't moved yet?

it would leak when running and for a few minutes after. and i also put it in neutral when i turn it off. i found the problem and didnt have to take it back out. thanks for the input. it was the rear seal to the t case in the sleeve that goes over the dive line and connects the the t case. oh man i am so damn happy i dont have to take it out

If DIY the big joint toward the center of the drive shaft (Lobro joint) has a rubber boot that can be cut if the drive shaft is bent too acutely. Watch for any shims under the carrier bearings and mark the shaft at the rear differential companion flange so that it can be reinstalled oriented the same way.

Sometimes the splined end of the drive shaft, where it enters the seal, will have sharp edges and may cut the seal causing a leak. Smooth with emery cloth if necessary. Then put a dab of grease on the splines before inserting.
