could use a little help!

I am currently in Afghanistan and the wife took my EVO 9 to the shop to have the clutch and flywheel replaced. and when she picked it up the car started blowing black smoke and started powering down and stalled, when she got it to start again, she had to baby it home under 45. can yall give me some suggestions on this, she tried to run the gas out and add new, but I am not there to look at it. could they have not connected something back.

Sound like one of the intake hoses between the turbo and the throttle body is loose. The car is running in limp home mode. Have her or someone you know check all clamps connections and make sure there are tight.

Check all the sensor plugs like the MAF sensor for instance, the intake has to come off to get to the trans. Also make sure the sensor is not upside down. The plug should be on top. Lastly check all the intecooler pipe couplers.
