new install help!

Hey guys I just installed a bunch of new parts including a shep built tcase and tranny. The parts I installed include the following
Act pressure plate
Act 6 puck
Fujita upper ic piping
Huge fmic
Down pipe
Hks gears and shaft cams

The car from the short time I got to drive it shifted amazing so hopefully no issue there. But the problem I had was not building the same amount of boost I was before. My evo 9 diverter valve is sounding way different and the car Keeps dieing after I let off the gas. It is running extremely rich according to my afr gauge its reading what I use to be reading at full throttle but now just sitting there. So do I need another tune to fix all of this? And what could make my DV valve sound completely different when it blows off?

Please help all input is greatly appreciated!

Oh and one other thing before I forget when I start to push the clutch in my slave cylinder sounds like a pump and makes a humming noise but moves the clutch fork fine as far as I know from the short drive I took

The short answer is if you changed cams you obviously need to retune

Yes, you need a tune like djdnav said because of the cams and also to take advantage of the installed parts. What fuel are you on? Are you running a tuned ROM and are you MAF or SD?

You will need to do a boost leak test. It's just a hunch, but it could be leaking from your BOV or another place like your freshly installed UICP.

If you do remote tuning (I specialize in that ) then you'll need a tactrix cable, evoscan, laptop and WB connector.

Well I have problem taking it back to the place I had it tuned before this, they did amazing work I just think its more then just a tune. I would lean more towards vaccum leak but I only took two lines off and made sure they were all the way back on. All my intercooler piping is on all the way as well. Like I said my DV started sounding totally different when I let off the boost too.

They already told you. Do a proper boost leak test!

And get a tune! Cams, piping, and exhaust(with no tune for it) your asking for a world of hurt.

I understand that I will need a tune, but that doesn't explain the totally different sound of the DV valve. I feel like it has to be related to that in a way too

Just because the pipes are "on all the way" doesn't mean they're not leaking; hence the need for a pressure test.

Boost leak test with soapy water. Have you done it?

Mark you a fellow Chamorro? Hafa Adai!

OP, do a boost leak test. Just a hunch, but I bet it's leaking and one of those places is probably the BOV.

Not to go off topic, but while we wait, my last name is indeed Chamorro, BUT, I'm not from Guam my Father is from Perú and I'm sure somewhere up the lineage someone linked up with a Chamorro member haha. So I suppose/assume we might be related way back when! Haha but I'm mostly Puerto Rican and Peruvian. OP let us know what's up! And sorry for OT conversation.
