HELP!! Running rich and I don't know why!

Help!! Lol, Well I recently blew my turbo and now it's all back together with the same turbo. So now when I drive the car it's running really rich. Rich on idle rich on cruise, but it's kinda ok on WOT.

Compression test is good
Boost leak test went ok from what I heard when I was doing it
I replaced the spark plugs, coil packs and MAF sensor. Still nothing is doing anything!! It's killing me! Has any of you guys ran into a problem like this? If so give me some info, I just want my car to drive good again.

Could the BOV cause it to run rich? Thats the last thing that I can think of that could be causing it, so ill try to swap my Tial Q with my friends and see if that does anything or will I be switching out another part for no reason?

egr is in, got no cel for anything. When the turbo blew I don't think it over boosted, it does going into 4th gear. I think the oil return for the turbo was restrictive and cause the oil to back up into the turbo or something like that.

I'm going to switch the front o2 sensor to see what happens. Hope it works.

What's your mod list?

Did your rewire your fuel pump?

Did you do a boost leak test? I'm here to help, so update us!

The car was fully tuned and running perfect before the turbo blew, then turbo was replaced and nothing else was touched. Now car runs super rich. I did boost leak test, compression test, swapped MAF, coil packs, and spark plugs. Still nothing. Gonna replace the front o2 sensor soon to see if that fixes it.

Fuel pump is wired the way it always has been which is the stock way, it was tuned that way and was never an issue.

Are you on the 93 octane map or E85 map?

I've had customers, as well as myself, run the E85 map when I meant to be on lower octane causing a very rich condition. Which is the main map, E85?

cuz you got too much fuel!

jokes aside I can only think of one of the following:

-FPR got bumped or needs calibrated again
-vacuum leak
-new turbo flows less CFM

Pump gas, wouldn't the boost leak test find any vacuum leaks? It's the exact same turbo as the one that blew, not sure how the flow characteristics would be that dramatic to cause such a change in the AFR.

Exhaust leak before the primary o2 sensor? Does it run fine when it's cold?

I recently had the same thing happen and nothing would fix it. (replaced O2 sensor, exhaust cam sensor, and coolant sensor) I logged nearly every sensor and removed/tested everything I could think of with a multimeter. It turned out to be a faulty IAC. It even tested decently with the multi-meter. It was rich at idle and cruise and fine at WOT. It started on the way home from doing a WOT pull.

what are the details on the tune, and who did it? If the tune was the same one that was on when the last turbo blew, I'd take a serious look at that before any other hardware. You're on a 9 which runs MIVEC, and that's not something all tunes are competent with.

I replaced the front o2 sensor and now the AFR is much better, I also tightened up all the manifold nuts that hold it to the head.

Yea evo 9 mivec. Jaime@ dynotech tuned it. With the new o2 sensor it has a little bit of a rough idle now though. As far as details on the tune in not sure what to look for to relay any more info. I haven't logged it in a while since before the turbo blew, I was only looking into a mechanical fix first and the new sensor has pretty much done it. Might have to adjust a few thing with the tune though, not sure which things though lol.

If you're unsure, I'd take it back to Jamie @ dynotech so he can recalibrate the fuel map if needed. At the very least he can check it and tell you it's okay.
