hi guys am new here an new with eves. ok to start of i bough an evo 8 with 111xxx miles cars has aem,xs cams pretty much stock has tune at 22 psi don't know how much power it made. will long story short car was running perfect i did do the head gasket cuz when i bough it it when bad, so after a while after tuning it an stuff i when to the track car did 12.5 i can't drive lol an then it started to have a lil slide nock after the 3rd pass. so i when home the next day it just started nocking at high in low rpms u cant really heard it. will i just wanted to know is there any other block i could use other then the evo 8 swap cuz they are preaty price. what kinda of block i could use an does everything else just bolts on.

You need to figure out the source of this 'knock' before worrying about needing a new block. It could be a rod bearing on it's last legs, which would mean time for new rods and a new crank....not necessarily a new block. There are plenty of reputable Evo tuners and shops in Florida that can be of more help to you.
