So I'm looking at running an open dump through the hood off the o2 housing. However for the past week I've thought that ill need a wastegate off the o2 housing but upon closer inspection I see no wastegate connection on the housing.
On MAPSs website they say running it in conjuction with the factory IWG is healthy but I'm just tryibg to make sure I'm not incorrect.
I ran a tial 38mm wastegate directly off my turbo housibg on my speed6 but in this case since the o2 housibg is divided it seems like it is just venting exhaust gases not excess boost sibce that is beibg takebn care of by the iwg.

Your external dump will be routed off the o2 housing when wga opens the flapper.yes just gasses.

 

So I dont need an ewg in order to run the hood dump o2 housing
