Kelford cams ?

I have an Evo 8 and a set of Vishnu adjustable cam gears. Found a killer deal on kelford cams for an Evo 9. Question is can I use them on the 8 without mivec? Just set the one cam different with the timing ?

I knew they were different for the mivec. Just wasn't sure if with cam gears they could work. Thanx
