Tial 44mm WG leaking during boost leak test.

My Tial wg leaks as soon as pressure it put to it while doing a boost leak test. I have a small and large red spring that should open at 14.5psi and I'm logging 26-27psi on a GM 3-bar MAP. There is no change when running the source straight from the compressor housing to the WG.

Also, on Virtual Dyno, the power hits hard until 5800rpm and divebombs a very noticeable ~50hp to 7200rpm. Is there anything reason why it would leak like that? I even tried the leak test hot figuring the valve would expand and seal.

same thing happened to mine. I had 2 of the old tial v44 wastegates on my twin scroll fullrace manifold for about 60,000 miles. I has the 13 psi spring in them. I was tuned for about 22 psi. I noticed i was over boosting so i had to keep on turning the boost down. I got to a point that i had the boost source for the wastegates straight from the compressure of the turbo with no boost controller and it was boosting 25psi+. The valve seal on the wastegates were bad causing the boost sourse to go past the valve steam.

I ended up selling them to tial to have the valve seals replaces. It cost me $60 each. I then sold the wastegates and bought brand new tial MVR's

The turbo is a Buschur FS635. I replaced the diaphragm early this year as the old one was ripped and boosted my old turbo to 30+psi. I'm probably going to buy a new gate whether it's Tial, Turbosmart, or Precision.

Well I installed a new valve seal and it still shoots to 26-27 psi. I'd hate to buy a new WG if it's a cheap fix but I can't find the problem.
