Hey everybody !

i was trying to remove my alternator from the top
so i have unbolted it and moved my FPR to make some space
i started pulling the alternator, and it seems that i was pulling lil bit too hard

i ended up breaking this cable, im not sure what is this used for ?
i would like to know what is this cable used for ? and how can it be fixed ?

Is that the mivec solenoid? If so, will need to replace the whole thing. No repairing that break.

 

i have an extra i would be willing to sell pm me i can have it out in the afternoon.

 

Yup, def the mivec actuator solenoid.

 

doesn't the upstream O2 sensor and the crank position sensor also have a connection near there as well too though? Kind of looks like one of those connectors too.

 

Thats def the mivec pressure solenoid. Id buy the one offered from the guy above lol. They are hard to get a hold of and very expensive new from the dealer!

Ive broke two of those things, pita!

 

Yes, i took it to a local garage, after inspection they find out that it is the MIVEC Solenoid

it got replaced.
