Heat shield

I can't believe that I'm asking this but here goes.

I know what a stainless manifold heat shield will look like as it ages. But my question is what will a Ti shield do over time?

Where I'm going with this is I don't want to pay extra for a Ti heat shield if it will look like crap after numerous heat cycles.

I suspect a TI shield would blue if it got hot enough...kind of like the pre-torched exhaust tip on the HKS.

You could always blue it yourself
