What is usually in the BS inspection hole? Just a bolt or plug?

The fitting will arrive this week sometime... it had to come from England. I wasn't sure what hose I was going to use until it got here, and I was going to cut off the second smaller piece of the end. Probably just going to use a zip tie and some goodrich line and call it a day. It DOES cure my crankcase/pressure issue for sure, as I just left the hole unplugged and ran around a bit.... zero smoke and my head can had zero oil in it. It was spitting out small amounts of oil though onto the manifold though just being open, so I put the bolt back in last night until this piece arrives. Went for a small drive and noticed some smoke again, so that bs hole is the magic key for mine and can't WAIT until this piece comes.Originally Posted by mitsubeastlee
This is pretty cool, did it solve your blowby /crankcase pressure buildup? If your manifold does allow a straight fitting would you suggest the stm balance shaft fitting becasue it is an fitting flanged? Your way uses a rubber hose on the end correct?

thanks bud. Although I am STILL waiting for the piece to even ship out. Originally Posted by Boostin_hard

Just a small vacuum line routed through engine bay and poking out above the driver's side light.Originally Posted by MitsubishiJoe
What size hose are you using?
UPDATE
piece is crap, leaks everywhere. Keep looking, wish I knew a way to vent the actual crankcase.

if you have deleted balance shafts this goes right in where the plug is, welds in. no leaks
