Won't fit. The turbine wheel is too small for the Tial 42r housing

Pete at Precision turbo just confirmed that this turbo will be fitted in a v-band in/out by the middle to end of March.

So V-band precision turbo users will not need to change their set ups, simple swap, one out and one in!!!

Well that could be the best and worst news for some 6466 owners....in a vband. (I am thankful for my open T4 manifold as it has remained to be the most versatile among the years.)

When I spoke with Precision last week they informed me the T4 hotside was from the same family of 66 exhaust wheels and the compressor cover was the same size as the 6x intake wheels. This truly means going from 6x66 to 6870 would not require any other changes.

Joe, the v-banded 6466 is a t-3 v-band housing. The 6870 with a v-band will be a t-4. That would require some changes to the header flange. But, maybe I misunderstood what you wrote?

Hopefully not being that the T3 v-band can go as big as 1.06a/r not sure how much bigger we should go with a single open scroll housing. Hey but who knows, guess we just have to wait and see.
