Talking Buschur Racing Stage 4 pump gas results!

Well, it sounds pretty damn good to me!

With 20 psi of boost at redline, and a very conservative pump gas tune by Tym over at Buschur Racing I made 332 HP at the wheels on a dynapack AWD dyno. If you figure a conservative 15% drivetrain loss that would be 390 HP at the crank and if you use a more realistic 20% since it is an AWD dyno you would come up with 415 HP at the crank

Looking at the sheets I have an UNCORRECTED 315 lb-ft of torque at 3700 RPM. If you use the SAE CORRECTED HP at that RPM of 240 HP and run it through the HP=>torque conversion equation you get 340 lb-ft of SAE CORRECTED torque

The car now pulls like a freaking freight train!

Later,

Keith

Sweet Fourdoor! Was this tuned with the AEM? Tim was playing with it last week when I was there.

degman:

That is with the 272's

mndeerslayer:

Do you own the black low wing EVO? They started work on mine on Wednesday, and did the first startup late Friday afternoon after finishing up all the install work. Then Tym spent Monday tuning it and I picked it up that night.

That's me. I'm now moving from deerslaying to Mustangslaying with my little black sleeper EVO. The only problem is how great the Buschur magnaflow looks. People can't help but notice that!

Cool!

My GF spotted your car there and at first thought it was an OZ...but she checked the brakes and realized it was an EVO... she has learned well

What all did you have done that day? I am seriously thinking about some flat black paint for the magneflow to reduce the visibility...not the tip, just the canister itself.

Good to hear you are running well! What RPM are you hitting peak torque at? I also noticed the top end roll off in power, I think it is due to the ultra conservative tune. The A/F ratio was 11.0 in the upper RPM's where the power started droping off, I figure if I tune it to maintain the 11.5:1 that was present below the power peak it will maintain power instead of dropping off like that.

Everything on my sig except the flash which was over the weekend. Me now! I asked the guys in the shop what you were having done and they said "Everything we have!"

That's a good idea about painting the magnaflow. Anyone know of paint that will stand up to the heat of a muffler?

Bar-B-Q paint works great in high temp applications.

Nice numbers. Is this with a Buschur reflash, an SAFC, an AEM or a combination of SAFC and reflash? So the torque is uncorrected but the HP is corrected?

That is with the AEM EMS.

Yup, the HP is SAE corrected, and the torque numbers are the raw figures. You can see on the graph where it says "SAE" next to the HP number but not next to the torque number. The other way to tell is the fact that the numbers are NOT the same at 5252 RPM. On my graph at 5252 I have 300 lb-ft of torque and 315 HP instead of them both being 315 like it would be if both figures were SAE corrected. I know that Dynapack and Dyno Dynamics both do it this way, and Dynojet does SAE correction on both.... not sure about the Mustang dyno's.
