I don't think it's possible to put the cam sensor plate in 180* out.
Definitly possible to install the CAM trigger wheel 180* out and it will cause a no start condition. Also, if your using an evo ecu make sure you have the imobilizer disabled.

Well i finally got around to checking some things out. Cams sensor plate is correct, as well as the crank sensor.

I'm going to make sure again that the correct wires feed correctly into the ecu.

so I found the problem. the 12v supply to the crank sensor wire was broke, between the connector and the sensor itself, right at the connector side. It had continuity when metered, but when twisted and connected nothing, haha I metered everything else but that thing. eh oh well.
I ended up resoldering right at the connector all 3 wires by depinning the connector itself.

So I finally got around to try to fire it up, and it will still not fire. I have fuel, verified by taking plugs out, and I could hear my relays fire for the fuel pumps. I cranked it for about 10 secs, it sounded like it back fired, but it didn't idk if that makes sense. Just to make sure I"m not going crazy or anything, but there isn't a sensor just for ignition right? CAS and CamAS both feed in for injector firing and spark correct? The plugs looked brand new, I think you should be able to tell if they spark by looking at the gap and look for signs of esd basically right? AEM CDI TWIN FIRE btw

If your cam sensors not new, try replacing it. Its not that expensive and only takes like 2 min to replace.

My car was down for 5 months, crank no start. I changed the crank sensor, coils, fuel pump, cam sensor support etc... didn't think twice about the cam sensor 'cause the one on the car was only 2 months old. Finally I thought why not just change the cam sensor, I replaced just about everything else.

Changed the cam sensor. The car started on the first try like it never had a problem.
I was so pissed at myself I wanted to kick my own @$$.

Disable your fuel pump and see if you can get it to fire with some starting fluid. If you can get it to run for a couple of seconds on the starting fluid, then it's down to fuel pressure and spray pattern. E-85 will flat kill injectors if left in them for awhile....Like when you're rebuilding your engine.
