S90 throttle body question

Looked around and decided if im going to buy a new throttle body why not go with it.

Saw it and alot of evo owners are happy with it. Need. To know want to order a throttle body tomorrow

What size recommended 68mm 70mm or 75mm for stock manifold

looking to get one as well, saw that magnus recommends them to go with their manifolds so thats a plus. being that you can get a stock TB ported to 65, i dont know how big you can open up the hole in the manifold but i would say the 68mm would be your best bet. im going with the 74mm most likely since its going on a magnus v5. where are you buying it from?

I just bought one from extremepsi and price was good!

I think 65mm is the max you could use on the stocker. I bought a 70mm and I bought a skunk2 IM, so I am gonna have it ported.

Ok seems like alot of guys are running 70mm throttle bodies on their cars. I plan on staying stock snd its cheaper than the ported version.

Would I need a bigger coupler? Currently have a 2.75 to a 2.50 for my short route

If you don't get an answer I can check when I get home.

I think it is kind of pointless to put a 70mm TB on an IM that is OEM size. You really want to match the TB with the inlet size on manifold. The Curt Brown IM isn't a lot and they offer a 70mm flange.
Don't know what your mods are but a BR ported TB and IM would be good and both are 65mm.
Actually I have a BR ported IM coming off my car by the end of the week if you are interested.

I had a very hard time getting one to seal properly on a customers car. Ended having a thicker custom gasket made. Other than that it was a good quality piece

It's a royal pain in the *** getting a 74mm s90 to seal properly on a stock manifold unless it has a larger flange welded to it. When you port the stock IM to 65mm there isn't much material left on it. I personally run a 74mm s90 on a heavily ported skunk2 manifold. I use a 3" to 2.5" reducer for the TB/uicp connection.

I just bought the 70mm s90 throttle body,

im also looking into a ported manifold, everything should bolt up, I just didnt want to spend $300 on a stock throttle body proted to 65mm, when I can buy a 70mm for $249 and will handle my power goals when I build her
