hks downpipe not matching mounts any ideas why?

So below are pictures of where the exhaust hangers match up.. and well they do not match up. its almost like my stock exhaust hangers are too short. im pretty sure I am going to have to get a torch and and get the hangers bent up to match but would like your guy's input.

Either stretch them, make a bracket that bolts into both the downpipe and mounts or torque solutions makes poly mounts that are a little longer than stock ones.

It almost looks like the flange for the hangers was welded on the wrong side. Maybe try and stretch the hangers a bit.
