Turbotrix does it again

Here goes. Got 3 hrs sleep last night. Got home decided it was a good idea to install UR 3" test pipe. Put it on. no big deal. No CEL yet. Anyway took the car for a run. Ran like absolute **** . Noticable dead spot and car hesitsting and general performance sucked. Immediately called Turbotrix and expalined the problem. Although booked up for the day Mark managed to fit me in. Put the car on the dyno everything was all ****ed up. probably due to the fact that I reset the ECU to get rid off that annoying CEL. My fault I shouldn't work on cars. Anyways after mark was done car is an altogether different animal. Putting down 315whp and 285.3 ft/lbs. Due to the time constraints Mark was able to achieve this but was confident if he had more time he could squeeze out some extra ponies. We only had about 45 mins dyno time because other scheduled people were waiting.
Although not my daily driver car is tuned conservative and no where near the point of danger or damage.
Long story short I screwed my car up and Mark along with the turbotrix gang saved my *** and did not make me wait to get it fixed. Given the time that was spent. I am super surprised yet again by these talented bunch.

Oh by the way none of this was caused by UR test pipe. Which seems to do exactly what it is supposed to do. I think the cause was loose nut behind the wheel

Oh I almost forgot I have RMR downpipe. UR test pipe. Turbo XS RFL Ti cat back. TurboXS H34 BOV. Turbotrix CAI. Hallman boost controller set at 20psi tapering to 19psi. Walbro 255 fuel pump. Redundant SAFCII (zeroed Out)which is for sale by the way . I think thats it. All parts installed by Turbotrix.

I am going back next week to get the final tune complete so that Mark can find those hiding horses. He was on an extremely tight schedule and did fantastic work on the limited time available.

My hunch is that he was so excited and tired he forgot to mention he was flashed? Turbotrix is offering ECU reflashes which would allow him to zero out the SAFC II and explain the dyno time.

Speedlimit....

What did you have installed on before (stock cat, high flow cat) and do you have a dyno result for the old set up? I'd be interested to see how much power the test pipe added.

With SAFCII, RMR downpipe CAI and boost controller at 18psi I made 285whp. Then the cat back is probably good for 12-15 whp.
I would estimate the cat is good for 10 whp. But where the cat really kills is torque. Which is the most important number for driveability

Rory, so your Evo-Flash reset itself after you reset the ECU

Nah Joel I don't think so. I did something. I really shouldn't work on cars. Motorcycles yes Cars No. Something else happened. I only had a basic map loaded. Now I have custom flash specific to my mods and the car rips. Only thing left is cams and I hope to break 350whp. 272s. SAFCII is no longer in use. All Flash now.
Turbotrix rocks

Bring the dyno sheets on Sunday to the meet, so I can see (even though I believe you 110% (but I still wanna see , and i wanna see you a/f ratio )
